Fire protection is provided by the Saugatuck Township Fire District, governed by a seven-member Fire Administrative Board appointed by Saugatuck Township, the City of the Village of Douglas and the City of Saugatuck. The District's mission is to minimize community risks and improve the quality of life for all persons within the District.
