About the update
The City is updating its Master Plan under the Michigan Planning Enabling Act (Public Act 33 of 2008).
The Master Plan guides land use, housing, transportation, economic development, natural resources and quality of life.
It builds on the 2016 Tri-Community Comprehensive Plan prepared with the City of the Village of Douglas and Saugatuck Township.
